Omega NC800HDS Masticating Juicer

This was my first big kitchen splurge when I first started getting into health and wellness, and living a more holistic lifestyle. I did an ungodly amount of research, and decided that this one was the best for me. I wanted a masticating juicer over a centrifugal, as it keeps the juice fresher longer, and you get more nutrients out of your veggies. I still use it to this day and it’s in great condition even ten years later!

Blendtec Total Classic Original Blender with FourSide Jar

Anyone who spends time in the kitchen needs a good blender. I use this for smoothies, my morning tea-lattes, sauces, soups. It’s probably my most used kitchen tool for healthy and fun cooking. I have had both this blender and the Vitamix, and I prefer this one 10x more. It less unwieldy, takes up less space and is also cheaper, but works just as well!

YETI Rambler Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Tumbler with Lid

I am as picky about my cups as I am about my morning beverages. This guy is seriously the best. It keeps my teas hot for forrrever and I love the sleek look and feel. It’s also the perfect camping cup and I take it with me on all my trips, as it’s durable and easy to wash!

Brew-in-Mug Extra-Fine Tea Infuser with Lid

I drink a lot of loose leaf tea, so I have two of these. They’re simple, well-made and have lasted the test of time (8 years now maybe?). Anyone who drinks a lot of tea needs a reliable strainer. They sit perfectly in almost any cup.

Lemon Lime Squeezer - Manual Citrus Press Juicer

I drink warm lemon water almost every morning (it’s great for cleansing the liver the say, and promotes healthy poops!). I also love adding lemon + lime in many dishes for acidity. This is one of those things you don’t necessarily need, but if you use as many lemons as I do, you’ll be wondering why you didn’t get one sooner. You’d think any citrus press would do, but I’ve tried 3 others ones before and this one is by far the best quality.

Egg Slicer & Wedger

Have you ever noticed how stupid difficult it is to properly slice an egg? This is one of those one-use kitchen utensils that takes up space in your drawer, BUT it’s totally worth it if you, like me, eat a lot of eggs. I’m always adding sliced hard-boiled eggs to breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and also the egg wedges cuts eggs into perfect little hors d'oeuvre for a great mid-day snack, sprinkled with a little smoked paprika or dipped in hummus or sriracha.

Kombucha Scoby

This gross, jiggly, wet thing is a Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast, otherwise known as a Scoby, used for making your own Kombucha at home. Brewing komucha is super easy and costs about one-tenth the price of store brought. If you have a friend who makes kombucha, I suggest you ask if they have extras (as a new one forms with each batch). But if not, you can buy one on Amazon like I did and have a huge, fresh batch of kombucha in roughly two weeks!

Kuhn Rikon Julienne Peeler

This peeler ROCKS! I use it for making zucchini noodles, which is MUCH easier than that huge clunky plastic machine I used to use. I also use this to julienne veggies for salads. All the products this company makes are high quality and last forever.

Stasher 100% Silicone Reusable Food Bag

I HATE using excess plastic and zip-lock bags when I don’t have to. This thing is eco-friendly, reduces plastic use, is super sturdy and easy to clean. You can throw it in the microwave and dishwasher and you can boil it, too. I’ve tried cheaper plastic bag replacements out there, but none of them come close in terms of quality. A great sustainable gift (my grandmother loves hers!)

Sustainable and Reusable Beeswax Food Wraps

Another great eco-friendly gift! This beeswax replaces plastic wrap and is totally easy to use. I use mine to wrap avocados, cheese, fruits, bowls etc. Unlike other people on Amazon, mine have lasted way more than a year. I just make sure to hand-wash with cold water and let them air dry.
